Apprenticeship MINIMUM wage proposal. Why NOT? See LONDON's apprenticeship

How many young people out there....14-16 years old would love to earn $5.00 an hour....have it matched with school credit...

How many businesses out there, small and large would love an opportunity to try out some new ideas without assuming the high cost of risk taking in the past?

The current minimum wage is no longer current to its original intent.

Consider the original intent....
It was an entry level job.
For those with no to little experience..due most to age..often meant for the youngest employees.
This gave an opportunity to employers as well in growing their business by being able to match the value presented in the trainee with risk taking opportunities to the end line of profit.

As time moved into the 60's and 70's and the socialist tilt left, more and more affluence often used against the minimum wage.  Morphing into the "LIVING WAGE."

So it's 2019...
and we now have MANdatory "minimum wage'....
for those needing a LIVING WAGE.
Screw the free market, screw the opportunity lost for young ones, screw the opportunity for the employer that wishes to take advantage of trainees with risk towards extended profits.

So Mr. President...lets Make America Great AGAIN lets INVEST in companies...we might have to set a limit on how many, for how long.  There needs to be consideration of age range....14 years old, too young? Ending age 18 years old not old enough?  Considerations for graduates, etc need?

Where there is will there is way, Mr. President...you show us that daily!

It seems there is a program in Europe...London....https://duckduckgo.com/?q=apprenticeship+london&t=ffsb&atb=v143-5__&ia=web
