Trump - Sanders phenomenon / Makers vs Takers > Three generations

The analysis of the oblivious to ALL, obvious to Tony!

The Trump and Sanders phenomenon is one that can be easily explained AND understood.  Accepted? well we shall leave that to another day....I continue...

Three Generations - The takers -  The Democrats disappointed them
It has taken three generations...with the parents boomers being the first.  The fight of liberals to use pop culture to develop the entitlement generation by ginning up discontent got only SOME of what they wanted.

The promises by the elites who USE the low information low class types ultimately pissed this new entitlement generation off.....give em an inch...they want the mile you promised....Bernie address these malcontents.

Three Generations - The makers - The Republican disappointed THEM
Using white guilt and political correctness, with the assistance of the marxist media the boomer generation of the middle and upper classes were hoodwinked by their success.....

Not spending time with their children, they compensated with lack of accountability and STUFF.  Ultimately the boomer generation and those that followed 50 years down stream finally waked  up.
An analogy I like is one of the parents leaving for a vacation without the children, trusting their children with the house, etc.."and remember, ...no parties." we're mom and dads last words....
When they returned THREE GENERATIONS later, they realized just how things got so screwed up and man are they PISSED....it's Donald J. Trump who is the voice of the MAKERS

 The Makers vs the Takers

After 25 years in the Advertising and Publishing business this original thought was often included in my SALES motivation meetings held weekly over those many years.
So fitting today to explain winners and losers I thought I'd share it....

The Difference often spoken of in Liberalism vs Conservatism is typically not more difficult to understand than ....TAKERS vs MAKERS....
There is a creed....for both...based on Image vs Performance...it works like this..
TAKERS with only IMAGE
when you have NO accomplishments except accomplishing  the task of distracting your audience once again by telling them what you are going to do...

1.  Tell them what you are going to do tomorrow....
2 ..Tell them what you "did" yesterday....(mostly lies)
3.   What are you doing today?  repeat, 1 & 2.

Contrast that with Performers CREED..
1. Tell people what you are GOING to do.
2.  DO it.
3.  Tell em you DID it.

A MAKER not a Taker

Winners NOT whiners ONLY.....

1) You justify your beliefs about yourself by your status as a liberal, not your deeds.
The most sexist liberal can think of himself as a feminist while the greediest liberal can think of himself as generous. This is because liberals define themselves as being compassionate, open minded, kind, pro-science and intelligent not based on their actions or achievements, but based on their ideology. This is one of the most psychologically appealing aspects of liberalism because it allows you to be an awful person while still thinking of yourself as better than everyone else.

2) You exempt yourself from your attacks on America:
Ever notice that liberals don't include themselves in their attacks on America? When they say, "This is a racist country," or ",This is a mean country," they certainly aren't referring to themselves or people who hold their views. Even though liberals supported the KKK, slaughtering the Indians, and putting the Japanese in internment camps, when they criticize those things, it's meant as an attack on everyone else EXCEPT LIBERALS. The only thing a liberal believes he can truly do wrong is to be insufficiently liberal.

3) What liberals like should be mandatory and what they don't like should be banned:
There's an almost instinctual form of fascism that runs through most liberals. It's not enough for liberals to love gay marriage; everyone must be forced to love gay marriage. It's not enough for liberals to be afraid of guns; guns have to be banned. It's not enough for liberals to want to use energy-saving light bulbs; incandescent light bulbs must be banned. It's not enough for liberals to make sure most speakers on campuses are left-wing; conservative speakers must be shouted down or blocked from speaking.

4) The past is always inferior to the present:
Liberals tend to view traditions, policies, and morals of past generations as arbitrary designs put in place by less enlightened people. Because of this, liberals don't pay much attention to why traditions developed or wonder about possible ramifications of their social engineering. It’s like an architect ripping out the foundation of a house without questioning the consequences and if the living room falls in on itself as a result, he concludes that means he needs to make even more changes.

5) Liberalism is a jealous god and no other God may come before it:
A liberal "Christian" or "Jew" is almost an oxymoron because liberalism trumps faith for liberals. Taking your religious beliefs seriously means drawing hard lines about right and wrong and that's simply not allowed. Liberals demand that even God bow down on the altar of liberalism.

6) Liberals believe in indiscriminateness for thought:
This one was so good that I stole it from my buddy, Evan Sayet: " Indiscriminateness of thought does not lead to indiscriminateness of policy. It leads the modern liberal to invariably side with evil over good, wrong over right and the behaviors that lead to failure over those that lead to success. Why? Very simply if nothing is to be recognized as better or worse than anything else then success is de facto unjust. There is no explanation for success if nothing is better than anything else and the greater the success the greater the injustice. Conversely and for the same reason, failure is de facto proof of victimization and the greater the failure, the greater the proof of the victim is, or the greater the victimization."

7) Intentions are much more important than results:
Liberals decide what programs to support based on whether they make them feel good or bad about themselves, not because they work or don't work. A DDT ban that has killed millions is judged a success by liberals because it makes them feel as if they care about the environment. A government program that wastes billions and doesn't work is a stunning triumph to the Left if it has a compassionate sounding name. It would be easier to convince a liberal to support a program by calling it the “Saving Women And Puppies Bill" than showing that it would save 100,000 lives.

8) The only real sins are helping conservatism or harming liberalism:
Conservatives often marvel at the fact that liberals will happily elect every sort of pervert, deviant, and criminal you can imagine without a second thought. That's because right and wrong don't come into the picture for liberals. They have one standard: Does this politician help or hurt liberalism? If a politician helps liberalism, he has a free pass to do almost anything and many of them do just that.

9) All solutions must be government-oriented:
Liberals may not be as down on government as conservatives are, but on some level, even they recognize that it doesn't work very well. So, why are liberals so hell bent on centralizing as much power as possible in government? Simple, because they believe that they are better and smarter than everyone else by virtue of being liberals and centralized power gives them the opportunity to control more people's lives. There's nothing scarier to liberals than free people living their lives as they please without wanting or needing the government to nanny them.

10) You must be absolutely close minded:
One of the key reasons liberals spend so much time vilifying people they don't like and questioning their motivations is to protect themselves from having to consider their arguments. This helps create a completely closed system for liberals. Conservative arguments are considered wrong by default since they're conservative and not worth hearing. On the other hand, liberals aren't going to make conservative arguments. So, a liberal goes to a liberal school, watches liberal news, listens to liberal politicians, has liberal friends, and then convinces himself that conservatives are all hateful, evil, racist Nazis so that any stray conservatism he hears should be ignored. It makes liberal minds into perfectly closed loops that are impervious to anything other than liberal doctrine.

11) Feelings are more important than logic:
Liberals base their positions on emotions, not facts and logic and then they work backwards to shore up their position. This is why it's a waste of time to try to convince a liberal of anything based on logic. You don't "logic" someone out of a position that he didn't use "logic" to come up with in the first place.

12) Tribal affiliation is more important than individual action:
There's one set of rules for members of the tribe and one set of rules for everyone else. Lying, breaking the rules, or fomenting hatred against a liberal in good standing may be out of bounds, but there are no rules when dealing with outsiders, who are viewed either as potential recruits, dupes to be tricked, or foes to be defeated. This is the same backwards mentality you see in places like Iraq and Afghanistan, except it's based on ideology, not religion.

a College education without Ambition, Effort, is NOT "education" ...a Trick, a Ruse

see the clip below from Bill Whittle...awesome.

#TrumpUniversity vs Government imposed college loans/large student debt.
It's a Ruse, a TRICK, a diversion from the TRUE enemy to college students...our own government....using the Hegelian Dialectic....
Problem > reaction > solution....all by the design from the #marxistleft propelled by he #marxistmedia

So why all the talk of College education?

Our Marxist Leftist government use this RUSE to control via re-indoctrination.

 Step ONE
you take over the college loans, and make it unaffordable to anyone without money to pay for their "education" forcing the need for loans.

Step TWO
Increase regulations and taxes on business to force the outsourcing of jobs overseas while increasing the use of H-1B visas for foreign workers to displace Americans

Step Three
You use the education process to psychologically handcuff and make dependent those who buy into the popCULT of education being the primary source of success...ignoring the truth that, in fact,

Step FOUR
Vocational schools? The obvious solution for those more apt with their hands than their scholarship - LEAVE no room for this in the "need for education" conversation.
This is the manipulation process the progressives USE

Ambition TRUMPS Talent

Ambition is ACTION oriented characteristic.
The Vehicle of Education without the FUEL of Ambition and Effort goes NO-where FAST!

"I enjoy my work"....wtf???? Was my intuitive working...

Sitting in a maximum security cell, Twenty three years of age, ....watching the Jerry Lewis telethon.  A member of the Hollow Wood community, Forget who it was that was  being greeted by Jerry, but suffice it to say it was a high level entertainer, that WHEN he articulated about the joy in participating with Jerry by bring his "WORK".....yes...in quotes...to the stage...stop...wtf?.

Consider this..

There are those that would do what they like to do, no motivation needed...would probably do it for free...but they ARE getting paid big bucks...ok....

Consider work as when those factory, industry, labor, routine,...every two hours looking at their watch for their next break, nailing it at closing time....on the dot...That's work...particularly those with callouses on their hands..

Then there are those who WORK....no quotations...got it...let me nail it for you...."Work is when you prefer to be doing something else...Period!

Consider this natural law.  Your Inalienable rights, who you are if not granted good fortune by past generations, without such LUCK, you do HAVE, your time...your time and how you value it.  What you do to make YOUR time worth more.

This we are all equal in....Ambition trumps talent and, often, good fortune...

New Paradigm....
Based on the premise that "Work" is when you prefer to be doing something else...than lets put a value where you heart is.  To the degree to which one is enjoy their "work"...lets pay them less..for after all, they would do it for free, right?....Consider all those in the arts, entertainment, give me a break..if the system was set up...they would do anything to be in the IN Crowd, and be loved by all, they hunger for it...

,
So if you are doing dirty work, low end work, so to speak,...but you are stepping up...than you should be paid for doing the dirty work....

Should Journalists be held to adhering to ALL the Components of Thinking?

Thanks to Paul and Elder (1997)....

Journalists...you have been charged with the death of Journalism....

How do you Plea?

Self-assessment guidelines below

The Components of Thinking

According to Paul and Elder (1997), in order to become critical thinkers we must be able to both identify the components of thinking and assess our use of these components of thinking.
The Elements of Reasoning enable us to analyse our thought, while the Standards are used to assess and evaluate our use of the elements. The Intellectual Traits are characteristics of a fairminded critical thinker. To cultivate the mind, we need command of these essential dimensions, and we need to consistently apply them as we think through the many problems and issues in our lives. (http://www.criticalthinking.org/starting/index.cfm).

The Elements of Reasoning (thought) tell us that all reasoning:
  1. Has a purpose
  2. Is an attempt to answer questions, or solve problems
  3. Is based on assumptions
  4. Is framed by a specific point of view
  5. Is dependent on information, data, and evidence
  6. Contains inferences, or interpretations, that lead to conclusions
  7. Is expressed through concepts and ideas
  8. Has implications and consequences

The Intellectual Standards are used to assess the quality of reasoning. Being able to think critically necessitates a thorough command of these standards, infused in all thinking. We use the Intellectual Standards as a guide to better and better thinking.
The Intellectual Standards include:
  • Clarity- Understandable, the meaning can be grasped
Could you elaborate? Could you illustrate what you mean? Could you give an example?
  • Accuracy - Free from errors or distortions, true
How could we check on that? How could we find out if that is true? How could we verify or test that?
  • Precision - Exact to the necessary level of detail
Could you be more specific? Could you give more details? Could you be more exact?
  • Relevance - Relating to the matter at hand
How does that relate to the problem? How does that help us with the issue?
  • Depth - Containing complexities and multiple relationships
What factors make this difficult? What are some of the complexities of this question/situation? What are some of the difficulties we need to deal with?
  • Breadth - Encompassing multiple viewpoints
Do we need to look at this from another perspective? Do we need to consider another point of view? Do we need to look at this in other ways?
  • Logic - The parts make sense together-no contradictions
Does this all make sense together? Does your first paragraph fit in with your last one? Does what you say follow from the evidence?
  • Significance - Focusing on the important, not the trivial
Is this the most important problem focus on? Which of these facts are most important? Is this the central idea to consider?
  • Fairness - Justifiable, not self serving or one-sided
Is my thinking justifiable in context? Am I taking into account the thinking of others? Is my purpose fair given the situation? Am I using my concepts in keeping with educated usage, or am I distorting them to get what I want?

Intellectual Traits
Consistent application of these standards of thinking to the elements of thinking lead to the development of Intellectual Traits of:
  • Intellectual Humility
  • Intellectual Courage
  • Intellectual Empathy
  • Intellectual Autonomy
  • Intellectual Integrity
  • Intellectual Perseverance
  • Confidence in Reason
  • Fair mindedness
The Result - Consistent utilization of the intellectual traits produce a well-cultivated critical thinker who is able to:
  • Raise vital questions and problems, formulating them clearly and precisely
  • Gather and asses relevant information, using abstract ideas to interpret it effectively
  • Come to well-reasoned conclusions and solutions, testing them against relevant criteria and standards;
  • Think open-mindedly within alternative systems of thought, recognizing and assessing, as need be, their assumptions, implications, and practical consequences; and
  • Communicate effectively with others in figuring out solutions to complex problems.
